When you access our website information of a general nature is gathered. This information (server logfiles) comprises the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and other items of a similar kind. This only involves information which gives no clues about your person. This information is technically necesssary in order to deliver the contents requested by you in a correct manner and it occurs automatically when using the internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to maximise and improve our internet presence and the necessary technology behind it.
To ensure that your data is protected during transfer we use state-of-the-art encryption technology such as SSL via HTTPS.
If you reach out to us by email or via our contact form then the data you give will be saved for the purpose of processing your enquiry or for any follow-up queries which may occur.
Deleting or Blocking Data
We adhere to the principle of avoiding unnecessary data. This is why we only save your personal data for the time it takes to deal with the aforementioned purposes or for the length of the many different mandatory periods stipulated for saving personal data. When the purpose ceases to exist or the mandatory period for saving data expires your data will automatically be blocked or deleted in line with statutory requirements.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereafter referred to as Google). Google Analytics employs so called cookies which are text files saved on your computer to enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by your use of the website including your IP address are transmitted to a Google server located in the USA and saved there. Due to the activation of the IP anonymisation on these websites your IP address will however be shortened by google within the member states of the European Union or in other member states of the European Economic Area Agreement. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server located in the USA and will be shortened there.
Google will then use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on website activity for the operators of the said websites as well as to render further services connected to the use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted from your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be added to any other data belonging to Google. You can prevent cookies being installed on your computer by changing the setting in your browser software. We wish to point out however that this restricts the use of the features on the website so that you will not be able to use the website to full effect. You can prevent the collection of personal data (including your IP address) generated by the cookie and through your use of the website as well as the processing thereof by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in reached by clicking on the following link: Browser-Add-on zur Deaktivierung von Google Analytics.
In addition to or as an alternative to the browser add-on you can prohibit tracking on our websites by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data from this website and this browser for future use as long as the cookie remains installed on your browser.
Like many other websites we use so called cookies. Cookies are small text files which are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. In doing so we automatically receive certain data such as your IP address, the browser used, operating system and your connection to the internet.
Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transmit bugs to a computer. The information contained in the cookies allows us to simplify navigation and display our websites more correctly.
In no event will we pass on the data collected by us to third-parties or without your consent link up your personal data.
Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)
In order to depict our contents correctly and with the optimum graphics from browser to browser we use script libraries and webfonts such as Google webfonts on this website (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google webfonts are transmitted to prevent repeated loading in your browser’s cache. If the browser does not support Google webfonts and prevents access the contents will only be shown in the standard font.
By calling up script libraries or webfonts a link is automatically created to the library operator. In doing so it is theoretically possible that an operator of such a library could collect data, even if it is not clear at present if they do so and to what purpose.
You can find the guideline on data privacy of the library operator Google by clicking on the following link:
